Pilates
Pilates uses slow and controlled movements to strengthen the core muscles- your abdominals and back. Pilates will improve your muscle tone, increase your felxibility and help you relax. This class is popular with men and women and people with back problems.
Prested Hall Mondays 1.45pm-2.45pm £6/class
Fitness Yoga
Fitness yoga uses the yoga poses from a fitness perspective to tone and strengthen the muscles and to improve your flexibility. There is no meditation or spiritural nature to this class, but you will leave feeling relaxed.
Prested Hall Thursdays 09.30am-10.30 £5/class
A 30 minute class of high intensity interval training which will push you to your limit. This class will burn fat, improves your metabolism and fitness level and tones and defines the whole body. The exercises are simple and un-choreographed so are easy to follow. Make sure you bring plenty of water and a towel.
Wednesday 8.15pm and Saturday 8am £3/class at Feering Community Centre'
Buggy Fitness
A post-natal exercise class where you do not need to worry about child care as your baby comes with you. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and can be attended by any new mums after their 6-8 week check-up.
This is a low impact class which will help you get back into shape after having your baby. During the class you will increase your heartrate to improve your fitness level and burn fat by doing cardio exercises, you will perform body conditioning exercises using your own body weight and the weight of your baby to tone and strengthen the muscles in your body and you will do Pilates to strengthen your abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles. All you need to bring is some water, your baby and buggy.
The class is run as a four week course in Kelvedon costing £20 on a Monday at 10-11am. Please contact me to find out when the next course starts,
